Big Country Soccer Association (BCSA) is committed to ensure that those Registered Members under our district are aware of and have actively participated with the BCSA Standards for Quality Soccer (SQS) requirements as certified through Canada Soccer Association (CSA).
To support our Registered Members in monitoring the roll-out and following of the SQS requirements, BCSA has developed the SQS Internal Audit Process to help provide Registered Members with a report on their current strengths on meeting the SQS requirements, and where they can consider improvement initiatives to help bring up their level of support to the BCSA SQS requirements. In order to be a member in good standing and offer soccer within communities, adherence to the SQS requirements is mandatory as noted by Alberta Soccer Association (ASA) and CSA.
BCSA has developed YouTube video presentations on topics to help Registered Members with their SQS requirements. These videos help reduce any administrative burdens associated with the SQS requirements and standardize the general knowledge of the requirements. For more on this, we invite you to check out the BCSA YouTube channel that you can access through the BCSA website.
For any questions on the SQS internal audit process, we invite you to contact the BCSA President/ Vice-President.
SQS INTERNAL AUDIT TOOLS
The following guideline document is available to Registered Members to familiarize themselves with the SQS Internal Audit process as well as the internal audit checklist. Registered Members are encouraged to use the checklist to help self-audit themselves before a scheduled internal audit with BCSA to help their program see where there may be additional efforts required to ensure adherence to the SQS requirements.
